I’m a seasoned bilingual licensed social worker, passionate about the well-being of families. I work with adults and children of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral issues. I’m particularly drawn to supporting pregnant women, new parents and those with younger children. I help parents to understand their children’s cues and developmental needs and to build trusting and stronger bonds with their children. Over the course of my career, I have led a variety of parent education and parent support groups. I also help teens and parents navigate their relationships during a challenging time in development.
I use a strengths-based, collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy. I provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for individuals and children to explore their inner selves, express their emotions safely, and resolve problems and conflicts in a judgment-free environment.
I’ve raised five children of my own and know firsthand the joys and challenges of the most important job you will ever have. I am eager to be your partner in navigating this chapter of your life.
I see clients primarily virtually and at our Evanston office on a limited basis. Contact me at Dolores@casascounseling.com
